This website is deliberately simple. It sets no cookies, and it uses no tracking, no analytics and no third-party services. The only personal data we process is what our web server has to record in order to deliver these pages and keep them secure. We collect nothing beyond that.

This website does not use cookies.
When you pick a language, we save that choice in your browser’s local storage (under the key “liternum.lang”) so the site opens in the same language next time. It stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and is not used to recognise or track you. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
We use no analytics, no tracking pixels, no profiling and no advertising, and we embed nothing from third parties. Fonts, images and scripts are served from our own servers, so opening this site causes no request to any outside company.
Each time a page is requested, our web server automatically records the following in a log file:
This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and to detect and fend off attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the site reliably and securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are never combined with other data, and we do not use them to analyse your behaviour.
We keep these logs only briefly. Log files are deleted after seven days at the latest.
If we notice suspicious traffic — an attack or attempted abuse, for example — we keep the affected log entries for longer so that we can analyse the incident and protect the site. Those entries are deleted as soon as the analysis is complete, and in no case later than 30 days after they were recorded.
We do not run our own data centre. This website is hosted with two European providers:
Both are European companies, and the servers we rent from them stand inside the European Union. Your data is therefore processed exclusively within the EU and under the GDPR; it is not transferred to a third country. Your data stays in Europe.
Our hosts act purely as processors on our behalf: they operate the servers, and they do not use the data for their own purposes.
This website has no contact form. If you write to us by email, we process your address and whatever you put in your message for the sole purpose of answering you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep the correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your request and delete it once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention period applies.
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
To exercise any of these rights, or if you have a question about data protection, write to us at any time:
